To all the cis people who wonder why trans people are so angry, and cautious about being their friend.  To the cis people who ask why we can’t just “all get along” and why we do things that make us “lose potential allies.”  This is not an isolated incident, this is a fucking reality for all trans people.  This is transphobia in action, and cis people just stare and take pictures.  There are fucking reasons to hate cis people.

I was reading about this just about an hour ago. The people discussing the video used it as an excuse to make racist remarks and argued it ought to be a hate crime when black people attack white people. Ironically when it came out that she was transgender, that was the basis for the attack and that it therefore was a hate crime, their opinion changed and they felt the attack was justified calling her a ‘weirdo’.
